Cuba, Russia sign telecommunications pact
March 13th, 2010 - 3:32 am ICT by IANSHavana, March 13 (IANS) Cuba and Russia have signed a pact to collaborate in the telecommunications field, Prensa Latina reported.
Both sides will jointly develop information technology, Russian Deputy Communications Minister Dmitry Severov said here Friday after a meeting with his Cuban counterpart.
At the meeting, Moscow and Havana discussed proposals related to telecommunications, radio-electric spectrum, information technologies and training.
The Russian minister will end his Cuba visit Saturday.
