Court seeks reply from car dealers on ‘illegal charges’
January 4th, 2012 - 10:10 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 4 (IANS) The Delhi High Court Wednesday sought response from an association of car dealers over a plea seeking a curb on collection of allegedly illegal charges by its members in the capital.
The division bench of Acting Chief Justice A.K. Sikri and Justice R.S. Endlaw also allowed the association to become party in the case. The case would next be heard Jan 25.
The plea filed by C. Rajaram sought a direction to 69 car dealers in the city to refund the money illegally collected from vehicle buyers in the name of logistic, stocking, loading and unloading charges.
