Los Angeles, Dec 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) For 125 years, Coca Cola has been successful in keeping its recipe for the brand coke as a secret. There have been many speculations about the recipe but the fact of the matter is that nobody has been able to make another coke apart from Coca Cola.

The recipe has been kept safe in a vault in SunTrust Bank for years but the company announced recently that they are moving it to the exhibition center Coke’s World of Coca-Cola. All the major social networking sites were abuzz with the move of the vault.

CEO Muhtar Kent ceremoniously held the vault as it was moved from the SunTrust facility in Atlanta. Company archivist Ted Ryan told USA Today that, “The whole point of a trade secret is that you know something that no one else does.”

Some analysts believe that the whole idea that Coca Cola is keeping its recipe in a vault located in some bank is not entirely true. Consumer psychologist Renee White Fraser explains that the whole idea is a PR gimmick aimed at getting the public to believe that the coke brand is powerful.

Powerful or not, Coca Cola is by far the most popular soda drink in history.
