New York, Feb 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) For more than a century Coca Cola company has been able to hold on to the recipe that makes the drink a market leader. That might not be the situation anymore.

That seems to have changed now because according to the website Thisamericanlife.org, the recipe for the drink was published in Atlanta Journal-Constitution back in 1979.

The website showed a picture of the newspaper that they claim contained the recipe. According to the website the publication did not get enough attention at that time.

The website published that the recipe of Coca Cola is concoction of the fluid extract of coca, caffeine, citrate caffein, sugar, water, lime juice, vanilla, caramel, flavor, citric acid, orange oil, lemon oil, nutmeg oil, corriander oil, alcohol, neroli oil and cinnamon oil. The website promises that it is going to publish the full instruction on how to make Coca Cola at a later date.

Coca Cola was first made in 1886 by the chemist John Pemberton. Over the years the drink has developed to become the biggest in the industry. The company has over the years jealously guarded the recipe and the instructions used to make the drink.
