jeepwranglerunlimited Leading US based carmaker Chrysler is the latest to join the recall bandwagon.

This year is going to be remembered by the huge number of recalls. It all started with Japanese giant Toyota Motors and Honda, its rival followed the suit.

The latest recall announced by Chrysler is massive since it will be calling back almost 600,000 vehicles.

The news was confirmed by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration yesterday. It will affect 5 of its models that are manufactured in the USA. The recall is mainly owing to a break fluid leakage possibility that can affect the car made in the years 2006-2010.

Chrysler will recall 288,968 Jeep Wrangler models and the recall will also include Jeep Compass and Dodge Caliber.

The last two models suffer from sticky accelerator problems. Apart from these, Chrysler Town & Country minivans and Dodge Grand Caravan models will also be affected by this recall.

The company is now in the process of informing the dealers all over the USA and the customers as well. The dealers will make the required repairs and replacement to the recalled cars and for this the customers would not have to pay anything.

No incident of injury or casualty has been reported from the defects in the vehicles but it is quite clear that Chrysler does not want to take any chance.

The massive recall will start in June. The cars sold in Canada and Mexico will also be recalled. Chrysler is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the recall issue is fixed without any problem.

It does not want a fiasco that Toyota got mired in.
