Chouhan urges industrialists to invest fearlesslyFebruary 16th, 2008 - 11:25 pm ICT by admin
Jabalpur, Feb 16 (IANS) Calling upon the industrialists to invest fearlessly in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Saturday said the state was an “island of peace” where feelings of regional bias did not exist. Addressing the concluding ceremony of the two-day investors’ meet organised here, Chouhan said the soil of Madhya Pradesh has the power to embrace everybody.
The chief minister expressed the hope that his government’s dream of progress and development of common man through industrialisation would come true during the journey, which started from Khajuraho investor meet.
“These dreams would surely be fulfilled since our efforts are sincere and intentions are clear,” Chouhan added.
Chouhan said that the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed during this meet would be implemented in the prescribed time limit.
He told the investors that they should obviously earn maximum profit from their investments but the common people should also be given their share by generating new job opportunities and helping in the overall development of the state.
Chouhan also pledged his government’s all possible help and support for the investors. Separate bodies would be made for the review of the progress of the industrial projects and he himself would monitor the work, said the chief minister.
