Chandra Bhushan Paliwal new CVO of SAIL
July 15th, 2010 - 3:54 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 15 (IANS) Chandra Bhushan Paliwal of the Indian Administrative Service has taken over as the chief vigilance officer (CVO) of the Steel Authority of India (SAIL).
Prior to this posting, Paliwal served as a joint secretary in the department of personnel and training in the the ministry of personnel.
In 29 long years of service in various senior and middle management level positions, Paliwal has accumulated rich and varied experience in the fields of public administration, personnel management and policy planning.
Paliwal had joined the IAS in 1981 (Uttar Pradesh cadre) after completing his master of technology from IIT, Kanpur. He obtained his masters in business administration degree from Hull University, Britain, in 1999-2000.
He has also served in various capacities in the government of Uttar Pradesh.
