CCL’s production reaches 48.01 MT in 2011-2012
April 3rd, 2012 - 9:14 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, April 3 (IANS) Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd(CIL), has produced 48.01 million tonnes (MT) coal in 2011-12, over the previous fiscal’s total 47.52 MT, a company statement said Tuesday.
“The coal dispatch was 47.633 MT in 2011-12 compared to 46.23 MT in 2010-11. The over burden removal (OBR) was 65.654 million cubic meters (MCM) in 2011-12 compared to 62.52 MCM in 2010-11,” the press statement said.
In 2011-12, the company has contributed Rs.2,433.63 crore to the government exchequer including royalty of Rs.683.62 crores. In 2010-11, CCL had paid Rs.1,703.83 crore including royalty of Rs.613.28 royalty to the Jharkhand government.
