Wilmington Town Of OhioDec.21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest episode of the television program ‘60 Minutes’ witnessed correspondent Scott Pelley revisit the town of Wilmington, Ohio which had been grappling under the onslaught of recession. The latest episode featured the present day situation in the town that was severely affected by the global economic meltdown which resulted in the major employer DHL Express close down its operation in Ohio. The program had showcased the story last year, when the package delivery company had shut down, which led to widespread unemployment.

The program revealed that not much had changed in the town since ‘60 Minutes’ featured it last year. The situation continues to remains as grim as ever, as around 59 houses in Wilmington have already gone for auction. Although, residents of the town are trying their best to come out of the crisis situation, the attempts seem far-fetched until and unless they receive some kind of help.
