Earlier, one could pay their bill only through cash, cheque or a demand draft.
Customers can make credit or debit card payment of their electricity bills at the bill payment kiosks at the 19 division offices, a company statement said Tuesday.
The kiosks are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on all days.
Gopal Saxena, chief executive officer of BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, said: “Customers can pay their electricity bills at over 5,000 locations through a wide spectrum of options, including BSES cash counters, credit card, net banking, auto debit and bill boxes at metro stations, among others”.
