‘Brave cops’ to travel free on Haryana buses
April 24th, 2010 - 7:33 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, April 24 (IANS) Policemen who win gallantry awards in Haryana will be allowed free travel on Haryana Roadways buses, Transport Minister O.P. Jain said Saturday.
“The Haryana government has sanctioned free travel facilities in Haryana Roadways buses to the policemen who are winners of gallantry awards,” Jain said.
Jain said the financial implication of free travel would be worked out by the transport department. The amount would be reimbursed by the police to the transport department.
