pelican-waves_1653059cGulf of Mexico, June 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After much political debate and allegations of slackness, the US government has given BP 3 days time to come up with a potent plan to stop the gulf oil leakage that is threatening the lives of the residents of the coastal states and the wildlife as well.

The claims of the company that its efforts are in full steam have been refuted by the US government and mistrust is brewing. The US justice department wants to ensure that the company has adequate funds to pay compensation to those who have been affected by the oil leakage.

The UDS government is worried and President Barack Obama is personally looking into the matter. The public resentment over the role of the action is growing and the US government does not want to take any more chances.

It has been decided that President Barack Obama will go to the region once more on Monday and it will be his 4th visit. His government is applying more pressure on the oil firm. It has already missed a number of deadlines and the US government wants to ensure the leakage is stopped as soon as possible.

It was in April that the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded at the coast of Louisiana.

The continuous oil leak has affected the marine and wildlife in the coastal region in the Gulf of Mexico severely and a lot of pelican sand other birds have been harmed. The photos of the slick coated birds that have appeared on the web are ghastly and evoke pity.

Next week the BP chief executive will have to answer the queries of Congress.
