Bosch Electrical Drives to set up Rs.37-crore plant
May 25th, 2011 - 8:09 pm ICT by IANSChennai, May 25 (IANS) Auto component maker Bosch Electrical Drives India Pvt Ltd will set up a plant in Chennai to manufacture wiper systems, engine cooling fan modules, window lift drives and others at an outlay of Rs.37 crore.
In a statement here Wednesday, the company said the plant is expected to be functional by end of 2012.
According to the company, the plant will be built on a total area of 9000 sq.m. and will met the demands of the growing domestic market.
Bosch Electrical Drives India at present employs 200 persons. With the new plant, it is expected that nearly 350 more people will be recruited over a period of three years, the company added.
