Bob Lutz started off at General Motors way back in 1963 where he held a position in the sales. In due course of time he associated himself with Ford, BMW & Chrysler Corp. It was in General Motors where Bob Lutz gave an impetus for successful models like Chevrolet Malibu and Cadillac CTS which are regarded to be top sellers out of General Motors classic array of products to offer. It was in last December when Lutz became the vice chairman of General Motors. Bob Lutz had first declared in February 2009 that he would eventually retire by the end of the same year. Bob Lutz was in a way persuaded by ex-ceo Fritz Henderson to pull back, to which Bob Lutz had responded positively.
