This year some of the retailers are offering selected Apple products at good rates. However, Apple products come at a steep price in general and even after the discount they do not become as cheap as the other gadgets. Apple on its part always maintain a premium price tag and does not resort to discounts too often.

All versions of the Apple iPad can be bought at $50 less at the Apple on-line store. The entry level 16GB model of iPad is now available at just $449 post the discount. The 64 GB model with 3G is being offered at $779. The shoppers need to understand that refurbished Apple product does not mean a defective or damaged one. In some cases the box may be damaged but not the product inside. The refurbished products also come with the standard 1 year Apple warranty.

The refurbished Apple iPod Nano is being offered on Black Friday at $99. This is applicable for the 8Gb version of the Nano. However, it is the fifth generation model and not the smaller one which has a Touchscreen.
