Bhutan to showcase investment opportunity in Mumbai road show
September 27th, 2010 - 9:27 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 27 (IANS) Bhutan will hold a road show in Mumbai next month to woo investments into the country.
The road show on Oct 1 is being organised by government of Bhutan and Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The show will have participation from a high powered 17- member delegation from Bhutan comprising senior officials and private sector representatives. The Bhutanese delegation will be led by Dasho Sonam Tshering, secretary, ministry of economic affairs, government of Bhutan.
According to Amit Mitra, FICCI secretary general, Indian investments in Bhutan have increased over the years and with the liberalisation of its foreign direct investment policy, the investments are likely to grow manifold.
