Bengal sets up panel on Teesta barrage
September 14th, 2011 - 2:00 am ICT by IANSKolkata, Sep 14 (IANS) West Bengal Irrigation Minister Manas Bhunia Tuesday set up a five member committee to work out the road map for the completion of Teesta Barrage project.
The committee will also look into the ‘delay’ in the project.
“We have formed a five member committee to work out a road map for the completion of the project,” Bhunia said.
The committee headed by a retired chief engineer will also look into the delay of the project, he said.
