Beijing house sales drop
February 16th, 2012 - 7:27 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Feb 16 (IANS) Beijing’s house sales have dropped considerably due to tighter government measures to cool the property market, a media report said Thursday.
Sales plummeted by 132,600 units between Feb 16, 2011 and Feb 15, 2012, compared to the corresponding period in the previous year, China Daily reported.
Second-hand house sales have dropped by 52.9 percent to 97,661 houses. The restrictions continue to limit house sales, it added.
