Bajaj November sales zoom 73 percent
December 2nd, 2009 - 5:05 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Mumbai, Dec 2 (IANS) The country’s second-largest motorcycle maker, Bajaj Auto, Wednesday said its sales surged 73 percent in November to 276,759 units as against 159,747 units sold in the same month last year.
In a regulatory statement, the company said it sold 242,390 motorcycles during the month, compared to 131,681 units sold in November 2008, a growth of 84 percent.
Bajaj’s exports also moved up to 98,521 units this November from 67,397 units in the corresponding month last year.
The company would launch a new model of its “Pulsar” motorcycle Dec 9, it added.
