Audi A6 Revamped With New Features

Dec 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Audi the elite car maker has taken the veils off the upcoming A6 its luxury Sedan which can improve its share in the US car market in near future as it is expecting. With this model Audi aims to make some progress in the mid-size luxury sedan segment in the USA. It will have to fight the contenders from old time players like BMW and Mercedes-Benz. The model is loaded with high tech features and the company has said that it will also launch a hybrid model later. It will come in 4 various types of engines to cater to the need of the different users. However, none of the models will come fitted with a petrol engine.
The Audi A6 does look quite similar to the bigger sibling A8. However it has got a longer wheel base hence the space can be utilized by the users. Audi has also employed a number of economy boosting features in the model. The car also makes use of more aluminum than other models in its body and hence it is lightweight compared to the other Audis. Audi has given the A6 some serious makeover in both interior and exterior.
As usual Audi has offered a lot of customization options with the model. There are options for fancy massaging seats and ambient lighting inside. There is also the provision of Bang & Olufsen audio system. The buyers can also select from high-tech systems like adaptive air suspension, adaptive cruise control, dynamic steering, night vision and active lane assist. The model will go on sale in 2011 in Europe as the company has said.
