Ashok Leyland, John Deere join hands for construction equipment
September 30th, 2008 - 5:05 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Chennai, Sep 30 (IANS) Auto major Ashok Leyland, part of the Hinduja group, and the US-based John Deere have set up a 50:50 joint venture to manufacture and market construction equipment in India.Announcing the joint venture, Ashok Leyland said here Tuesday that they were looking for the site. The joint venture is expected to commence production by 2010.
