November 26th, 2009 - 7:21 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Nov 26 (IANS) Realty major Ansals API Thursday said the company will be investing Rs.1,000 crore by 2010 in the mid-housing segment.
“There is a huge demand in the middle housing segment. We are planning to invest about Rs.1,000 crore in this segment in the next one year,” said company vice chairman and managing director Pranav Ansal.
“Mid-housing segment has always been our main focus and it will be our only focus in the next two-three years. There is always demand in this section,” Ansal told IANS on the sidelines of Franchise India trade show.
“In the coming years, tier-II and tier-III cities will be our focus area as the demand for mid-segment housing will be more in these cities,” he added.
However, Ansal said, the company will not immediately venture into the office space and retail space segments.
“We will be completing our pending projects rather,” Ansal added.
