Wasilla, Jun 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Alaskan Distillery has come out with a new flavor of vodka and that is ‘Smoked Salmon Flavored Vodka’.

It is surely following in the lines of the Black Rock Spirits, which is based in Seattle and who had introduced the bacon-flavored vodka in 2009. According to reports, the Bakon Vodka would soon be up for grabs in around 20 states in 30 days. Whereas the Salmon flavored vodka is already available in Alaska and in Texas. The manufacturers of the vodka are trying their best to get a distributor in California, and in the Washington state as well.

According to reports, the salmon-flavored vodka and the bacon flavored vodkas have a smoky taste, and are said to be the best complementary partner to the Bloody Mary’s.

Toby Foster is an Alaska Distillery partner and he is the person who is primarily responsible for the new drink. He said that, “I think there was some madness and some drunkenness involved, honestly. I was trying to think of something Alaskan. What’s more Alaskan than smoked salmon? It was one of those epiphanies, I suppose.”

He wanted to make a new blend of vodka on the Alaskan theme, and came up with Salmon flavored vodka.
