Airtel officials sold shares worth Rs.4.6 crore
November 22nd, 2011 - 10:05 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS) Two senior officials of telecom service provider Bharti Airtel have sold shares of the company worth Rs.4.6 crore through open market transactions, the company said Tuesday.
Chief executive officer (International) and joint managing director Manoj Kohli sold 50,000 shares worth over Rs.1.99 crore, while Akhil Gupta, a director, sold 65,500 shares worth over Rs.2.61 crore, the company said in a disclosure to the regulatory filing.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of the company closed 2.48 percent lower at Rs.378.85.
