London, Aug 17 (Xinhua) At least five people were killed Sunday when two light aircraft collided mid-air over an airport in central Britain, according to a media report. The accident occurred when the two planes were preparing to land, the Sky News reported.
The wreckage of the planes was found in Brandon Woods, some eight km from the airport, according to the West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Currently, the accident is being investigated. No further detail was available, the report said.
