Air Arabia announces low-fare festive bonanza for Indians

“We are happy to unveil the lowest fares for this region. Air Arabia has 46 destinations in the Middle-East, North-Africa, India and Eastern Europe. Besides fare, travellers can also select holiday packages with us,” said A.K. Nizar, commercial head of Air Arabia.
The airline will charge Rs.3,037, on all services from the 13 Indian destinations to Sharjah, he told a press conference here.
The airline connects 13 Indian destinations to Sharjah and 46 global destinations unward — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Nagpur and Thiruvananthapuram.
Flight to Kuwait, Muscat and Bahrain would cost Rs.3,780, while the fare to Amman, Beirut and Damascus will be Rs.3,982. The other offers are to Khartoum (Rs.4,117), Alexandria (Rs.4,387), Istanbul (Rs.7,222), Nairobi and Kiev (Rs.7,357).
These fares include free baggage allowance of up to 20 kg, hand baggage of 7 kg and all surcharges, except the airport tax and fees, valid for travel till March 31, 2010.
Air Arabia, listed on the Dubai Financial Market, is the Middle East and North Africa’s leading low-cost carrier (LCC).
It launched operations in October 2003 and currently operates a fleet of 16 new Airbus A320 aircraft to 46 destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and Central Asia through its main hub in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
