AC sleeper class RAC passengers also to get bedrolls
November 11th, 2009 - 5:24 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Nov 11 (IANS) The railways has decided to provide bedrolls to reservation against cancellation (RAC) passengers also in AC classes.
Earlier, passengers travelling in AC classes with RAC tickets were not given bedrolls though bedroll charges were included in their fares.
Sleeper class passengers in the non-stop Duronto express will be provided bedrolls on demand, the railway ministry said in a statement.
Each passenger will be charged Rs.25 additionally for the service.
“We have planned this facility just in Duronto for time being but later on the the bedroll facility for sleeper class will be extended to other long distance trains as well,” a railway official said.
