Abu Dhabi to host energy summit
January 7th, 2012 - 12:45 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Jan 6 (IANS/WAM) Participants from nearly 140 countries will attend the 5th edition of the World Future Energy Summit here from Jan 16-19, organisers said.
Agenda of the summit is energy efficiency. The event is expected to attract 26,000 people, including 3,000 delegates and 650 companies, officials said.
Companies such as General Electric, Bayer Material Science, Schneider Electric, Siemens and Exxon Mobil will participate.
Exhibitors will present their latest technologies and solutions in the energy efficiency domain. A wide variety of energy efficiency-related products will be on display.
Saudi Arabia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, the US, Britain, Germany, France, China and Japan are among the participating countries.
