Abu Dhabi announces new housing scheme
October 11th, 2010 - 1:20 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Oct 10 (IANS/WAM) At least 3,000 plots will be allotted for the construction of houses in various parts of Abu Dhabi as part of a new scheme announced Sunday.
Abu Dhabi President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued a decree granting delivery of 3,000 plots to citizens of the emirate. Plots will be distributed in the suburbs of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region.
The president also instructed Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, to coordinate with the housing department to execute the project as quickly as possible.
