Florida, Feb 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is not every day that we see reality TV stars opting for a change and taking up pens for a profession. However, Lauren Conrad who shot to fame with a reality TV show, is now basking in the new found glory of her success as an author. She has reasons to be happy as her sophomore publication has become a bestseller, sending her laughing all the way to the bank. The New York Times has rated “Sweet Little Lies’, her second novel as a bestseller. Her debut composition named “L.A. Candy” also met with good overall response. That was released just a few months ago.
Obviously, the author is beside herself with joy at the success of the new novel. She told in a recent interview that she is happy that people are appreciating her writing and efforts. In her first novel, the author utilized her own experiences of participating in a reality show. That explains why readers liked the protagonist of the first novel Jane Roberts, a lot. The second novel picks up the storyline from where the first had left. The TV starlet had no idea that she would turn into a writer when she was in the showbiz.
This week she was seen in Miami, promoting her new book. She did not mind braving the inclement weather for that. She loved the fact that people came to meet and see her fighting the snowfall. It made her all the more excited, as she said later. The readers are now eager to know when she will start writing her next.
