Chicago, Feb 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The best selling author Kevin Trudeau is facing contempt of court, over his mass-mailing deed. He had asked his fans to email the judge and inform him about the actual person that he is, and also tell the judge about all the positive changes that he has brought in their lives.

U.S. District Judge Robert Gettleman was very upset when he was flooded with thousands of “harassing, threatening and interfering” emails. The emails were so numerous that they locked up the judge’s email system, and also shut down his Blackberry for part of the day, due to their enormous volume. “This is direct contempt — that’s how I view it,” Gettleman said. “He interfered with the direct process of the court.” “This is the first time we are addressing an email blast or something that’s disrupted the court’s email system,” according to the Acting U.S. Marshal John O’Malley.

Later Trudeau realized his folly, and asked his fans to not sent any more emails to the judge. He said that it was a big mistake and he said that it was very wrong on his part to ask his fans to email the judge. He has now made a U-turn, and is now asking his fans to stop all further communication with the court or with the Judge Gettleman.
