deependLos Angeles, California, Sep 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jacquelyn Mitchard struck gold with her first novel and had become an instant favorite with the book reading multitudes after her “The Deep End of the Ocean” successfully managed to strike a cord in the hearts of readers. The sorry plight of the harried mother Beth, after loosing her middle child, son Ben from a crowded hotel lobby, had been so full of emotion, all in the right measure, that the readers had lapped it all up eagerly.

Now she is out with her new book , which is sequel to the original tale that narrated the plight of the lives of the members of the Cappadora family after Ben had mysteriously disappeared from their lives, one fine day. “No time To Wave Goodbye” re-accounts the tale of the Cappadora family once more, tracing them after 13 years since Ben was found. The original tale had successfully sold over 3 million copies and had later been made in to a movie starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Treat Williams.

The story finds all the children, Vincent, Ben and Kerry grown up and their mother changed in to a woman with peace now, after having had Ben restored to her. The story unfolds with Vincent making a documentary movie featuring five families who have lost their children in kidnapping, never to have found them again. The movie gets nominated for Oscar and that is when the family starts reliving their past experience once again. Ben’s daughter is kidnapped and it is only a matter of race against time that the Cappadora family is pitched in to.
