The novel is written by Richard Paul Evans who is an American author and the publication date was on October 7, 2008. In 1993, he couldn’t find himself a agent to publish , he published the book himself as a paperback novella entitled The Christmas Box and also distributed it to book stores in his community.The book became a local bestseller, prompting Evans to publish the book nationally.
