Tata launches Xenon Pickup in Bangkok International Motor Show Print E-mail

TataFirst it was Nano, then Jaguar and Land Rover and now its Xenon. The speed at which Tata Motors is moving ahead is amazing and reflects the change in mood of not only Tatas but India Inc. also. The group launched its 1-ton pickup Xenon in the 29th Bangkok International Motor Show. It has been designed keeping the local market & customers in mind. It has been designed in England but built in Thailand.

Thailand is the one of the largest markets of the world for pickups. Not only it has become a leading exporter of the vehicle over the past decade, it is also among the top 15 automobile assemblers worldwide. The Xenon is assembled at the Thonburi Automotive Assembly Plant (TAAP). Thonburi's long experience and excellent reputation in quality and craftsmanship will ensure the product meets customer preference.

The company plans to produce 12,500 units a year and sell it in the price range of 539-629K THB. Few pics can be seen here and here.
