Indian National EmblemPress Release (Embassy of India, Bangkok) : The Indian Council for Cultural Relations of the Government of India is offering scholarships for the academic year 2008-09 to Thai students desirous of pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. studies in various courses in Indian universities.

Interested students may approach the Embassy of India, Bangkok at Tel. No. 0-2258-0300-5 ext. 139 for more information. The application form can be obtained from the Embassy or the site: www.iccrindia.org. The last date of submission of applications at the Embassy is 1st February 2008.

สภาวัฒนธรรมแห่งอินเดียเปิดให้ทุนการศึกษาสำหรับปีการศึกษา 2551-2552 สำหรับนักเรียนไทยที่ประสงค์จะศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาตรีถึงปริญญาเอกในสาขา วิชาต่างๆ ที่ประเทศอินเดีย นักเรียนที่สนใจสามารถติดต่อสอบถามข้อมูลและขอรับใบสมัครได้ที่สถานทูตอินเดีย, กรุงเทพ หมายเลขโทรศัพท์ 0-2258-0300-5 ต่อ 139 หรือทางเว็บไซต์ www.iccrindia.org ปิดรับสมัครวันที่ 1 กุมภาพันธ์ 2551



Every year, the Government of India offers a number of scholarships to Thai nationals under various schemes. During 2007-08, 94 scholarship slots have been offered to Thailand under the following schemes.

  1. General Cultural Scholarship Scheme (GCSS)
  2. Indo-Thai Cultural Exchange Program (CEP)
  3. Scholarships for Courses in Traditional Systems of Medicine (AYUSH)
  4. Mekong-Ganga Cooperation Scholarship Scheme (MGC)
  5. Hindi Scholarship
  6. Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Scheme (ITEC)
  7. Technical Cooperation Scheme of Colombo Plan

Last Wednesday on 16th January 2008 The Indian Embassy hosted ICCR's International Students Day/ITEC Day Reception.
