August 16, 2007 By News Desk To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of Thailand-India bilateral relations, the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi organized a host of activities reports Merinews . This included Khon Ramakien (Thai Ramayana) performance at the Siri Fort Auditorium on 9th and 10th August, 2007. Coinciding with this momentous occasion, an exhibition of photographs “Bharata in Reflection” taken by Her Royal Highness Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is on view at the Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts from 9 – 15 August 2007. Besides these, a seminar on Indo-Thai Historical and Cultural Linkages was organized at the National Museum on 10 – 11 August 2007. The speakers spoke on a variety of topics which included “Bodh Gaya and the Art of Thailand,” “The Influence of Indian Art and Culture in Thai Art”, “Sage Bharata in Thai Dance Tradition” among others.
