New political bloc formed in Thailand |

September 11, 2007 By News Desk A group of more than 200 veteran Thai politicians on Tuesday launched a new political group which they claimed would play a neutral role in the deeply divided country reported The Nation.
"Our stance is to be nobody's enemy," said former foreign minister Surakiart Sathirathai, who was a key man behind the formation of the group.
Surakiart announced the platform of the Pua Paendin (For the Motherland) Party that plans to contest the general election scheduled on December 23.
