August 12, 2007 By News Desk  People from all sectors of society nationwide on sunday evening joined a candle-lighting ceremony in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on the auspicious occasion of her 75th birthday ETNA reported .
Broadcasted nationwide, the gracious candle-lighting event with mass singing in honor of the beloved Queen was followed by spectacular fireworks displays.
Some 15,500 persons, including members of the Royal family and cabinet members, attended the Queen's birthday, held at Chitrlada Palace's Dusitdalai Pavilion.
