The gallery will open with a show of 18 prominent Indian Contemporary Artists, each contributing works truly representative of their individual art, their inspirations, their desires and most importantly, a part of their soul. This is the first time in Thailand that such a large group of Contemporary Indian Artists have been brought together for a single show by a gallery.

Humans around the world speak various languages, some very different to each other and some very similar. In a multicultural environment as Bangkok people may not be able to understand each others language. However, there is one language which everybody can understand and interpret, that is the language of paint. Every artist has a thought behind each stroke of paint that he puts down on paper. And each viewer has an interpretation completely his own of the artwork he sees.

Art is one language that everyone can read, from a child to an adult, across cultures and language barriers. It is this uniqueness of paint that will be celebrated in the show READING PAINT.

Artists from all over India, from Gujarat to Karnataka and from Kerala to Uttar Pradesh will be showcasing their work. This explains the varied styles, mediums and techniques you will get to see in this show.

Some of the well known Indian Artists participating are:
YASHWANT DESHKMUKH, B.M.KAMATH, POOJA IRANNA, VIVEK VILASINI, MURALI CHEEROTH, MAYA BURMAN, LAVANYA MANI, SHEFALI NAYAN, VARUNIKA SARAF, PRAJAKTA POTNIS PONMANY, VIRAJ NAIK, AZIS T M, ZAKKIR HUSSAIN, K . P. REJI, E. H. PUSHKIN, BINOY VARGHESE, GIGI SCARIA and BABU XAVIER.
