www.thaindian.com is an initiative to provide a common platform to the Indian community in Thailandand to showcase & preserve our culture, values and beliefs in this fast changing world. In other words, we get a place where we can be ourselves and talk freely about what all it means to be a Thaindian.
TheNon-Resident Indians across the globe have been making the country proud and the stories of their achievements have become our folklores. However, there seems to be a geographical bias to these stories. The Indians in the Eastern part of the world are much less celebrated as compared to their western counterparts. This is one more important aspect, www.thaindian.com would cover - that of showcasing prominent Thai-Indians and sharing their achievements for others to emulate.
Finally, www.thaindian.com expects to serve as a medium for the Indian communities or associations whose members are able to meet very infrequently because of a number of reasons. We strongly encourage such communities to register themselves with us and become web enabled so that your members can regularly interact with each other.

Visit website dedicated to Shri Advaniji's autobiography
A website dedicated to Shri L.K. Advani's recently released autobiography – My Country My Life - has been launched. It can be accessed at www.mycountrymylife.com and also at www.lkadvanimemoirs.com.
Shri Advaniji's memoirs have received critical acclaim all over the country since the book was released by former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in New Delhi on 19 March 2008. Given popular demand, both in India and abroad, it was felt that it would be useful to disseminate some of the salient aspects of Shri Advaniji's narrative about his service to the nation and his vision for India.
The attractive new multimedia website contains comprehensive excerpts, reviews, articles, interviews and comments about the book in blogs on the Internet.
The website was launched 6 April, the Sthapana Divas of the Party. (It was on 6 April 1980 that the Bharatiya Janata Party was founded under the leadership of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.)
You are welcome to visit the site and offer your critical comments in the Guestbook.
