Re:Lets Introduce ourselves - 2006/11/15 04:09 Though I already participated in the meetup on Sunday at the Indian Hut and met some of you wonderful people. Here is a brief introduction about me and my wife. We retired after spending nearly 37 years in business in India.

I am an electrical engineering dropout and my wife is a qualified homeopath from Bombay who spent many years as the marketing head of our business .We together introduced many innovative hospital products for control of asepsis in Hospital operation theatres. Our son has now decided to pursue our dream and is in the process of setting up a company in USA. ( www.deconsafe.com)

We came here to Bangkok about a year back to be with our only son. To quote him, “You will like the place dad, it offers you first world comfort at the third world prices and with a smile to boot “ .Well ,we found it to be true and decided to find a way to stay here longer. We were a little lost not knowing any one from India and most of the Indians on the street not being very friendly. Now with Thaindian community as the bonding place, we feel , we will really enjoy the rest of our stay here.

Re:Lets Introduce ourselves - 2006/11/23 09:35 [b]Damn, i was writing this intro ofmyself a while back and it got lost with some mis-click. F**k.....oops. Sorry. So here I go again.

A newbie in Bangkok - been here just month ago. Found this country strange initially, but getting to explore it more and more as the days passes by. But all I have dug here are the Bars and Al Husein Restuarant in Sukhumvit. I loved their food and its kinda dirt cheap.

I also got myself to play some Pro Cricket by the virtue of this website. So hats down for Thaindia team. Job well done. Your project is certainly commendable and deserves accolades. (Though I can mark out some flaws, being a web pro myself). But the site is an enriching user experience.

About me: MALE - 27 - WEB TRAVEL WRITER.
Location: LAKSI - Guess thats North Bkk.
Interests: Sports, Music, Booze, Wild Animals,
