Bangaloreans ‘Modi’fied Gujarat CM launches tirade - 2009/04/15 02:08 BANGALORE:The pied piper of the Hindutva brigade Narendra Modi on Thursday almost ‘Modi-fied’ his audience here Hindutva conch.

Raising the issues pertaining to the security, price hike and administrative failure during the UPA’s alleged misrule, the Gujarat CM kept the crowd engaged.

Modi on Thursday travelled to Bijapur, Kittur, Gadag, Tumkur and Bangalore and wherever he had public meeting, he spoke in Hindi but language did not become a barrier for him. The cosmopolitan culture of Bangalore was quite evident when the audience refused to have any translator and listened to Modi’s speech in Hindi with rapt attention. He even did not use the bullet proof glass encloser saying there is no security threat to him.
