welcome to thaindian.com. Needless to say this is our place to have fun and to connect.

So,without much ado lets start introducing ourelves!

I have been working & staying in Bangkok for last 3 years now...great place indeed!

get very little time out of my daily rut...hang out mostly on net...

like to enjoy...read a little...watch movies... and occasional night outs!

Nice to hear frm u.It is indeed nice to have a platform wherein apna desi ppl can hook up n get in touch wid each oder, helps in reducing the general feeling of loneliness... About me, am into my final year MBA from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok. Have been here for a touch over an year now. Me doing gud, enjoying life in Bangkok n m luking forward to hearing frm d oder indians as well...

I have been here in Bangkok for the last 3 years.
Enjoying my time here. Im into the IT industry managing some portals and services.
Ive traveled most of Thailand more of South Thailand and must say that the country side is beautiful. Seems everyone whos living in Thailand must get a taste of it.

Looking forward from more excelent article from you guys.

I am Parul Verma working with a French sports retail in textile division .

I am a NIFT ,Delhi ,Post Graduate ...Have been staying in Bangkok with my hubby for past 3 years now ..

when i came to BKK ,3 years back , without JOB , Newly married ,Husband busy in work..i used to look for a similar platform where i could get a feel of India

Hope many new comers esp Woman can be united together and share information and expereinces...

trust me, the desi community in bangkok is out & out dry. maybe thru this website we can network and build some friendship circles.

Me:
Just moved to Bangkok less than a year ago.
FOB...fresh Off the Boat....
still getting used to the spicy food and the kaik smirks & frowns from the thais.

Almost lonely & feel like walking up & talking to every desi face i see on the streets.
but they seem to frown more at the sight of another desi.
smile ppl...see what a beautiful world it is out there.
there is no VAT on smiling...its free

Be Easy....dont be a desi........

I am rolee from UP, India and living in thailand since last 91/2 years(long time!!!). I am new one on the forum as I registered today only on this site. Its great that we have a site exclusively for US(not USA) INDIANS and especially I am delighted to get all the news & information about the activities .... as I live in an area which is pucca Thai and because of business responsibilities, I get very little time to socialise.
