Pakistan and Indian Physically Handicapped Teams. - 2009/09/27 10:40
Pakistan Cricket Association for Physically Handicapped (PCAPH) was established in March 2006 and was duly approved by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB ) for creating better cricket skills for physically handicapped people in Pakistan. The main objective of the organization is to create opportunities and expand cricket for the physically disabled.
We have organized our 1st national event in 2008 successfully and now organizing 2nd National event for 2009 in all over the Pakistan. We are now also moving towards the international events
The National team selected by the All India Cricket Association for the Disabled (AICAD) was scheduled to tour Pakistan, to play series of matches with Pakistan Cricket Association for The Physically Handicapped in February, but the tour got cancelled after the freezing of relations between the two countries as a fall-out of the Mumbai mayhem.
“PAKISTAN CRICKET ASSOSIATION FOR PHYCILLY HANDICAPPED (PCAPH) was also supposed to come to India on a reciprocal tour thereafter. But in this situation, that will also have to wait,” AICAD president and former Indian cricket captain Ajit Wadekar told IANS.
PCAPH is very much keen to play this series and waiting for the series to rescheduled.
