Earlier, South Africa had posted a modest 148-7 from their 31 overs in a rain-restricted game. Saurabh Ganguly, Tendulkar and Gautam Gambhir could not do much with the bat and the India needed a stable partnership which came in the form of Yuvi-Dravid playing an intelligent innings. After Dravid left, Yuvraj was joined by dhoni. The duo made no mistake and steered India to victory. In the second game on Saturday, which India had won, Sachin Tendulkar became the first player to reach 15,000 runs in one-day internationals.
India will play Pakistan in a one-day international in Glasgow on Tuesday before facing England in three-Tests and seven one-day internationals from July 19 to September 8.
