The SIAT Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the details for the Deepavali 2007 Celebrations:
Venue: Grand Ball Room, Rembrandt Hotel, Soi 18, Sukhumvit. Date : 11th November 2007. Start Time : 4.00 P.M onwards. Dinner : About 6.45 P.M. - 7.00 P.M.
H.E. MADAM LATHA REDDY, Ambassador of India to Thailand has kindly consented to grace the occasion and start off the celebrations by lighting the traditional Deepavali lamp- Kuthu Velakku.
There will be an entertainment program of Songs, Music, Dance for about two and half hours.
This year we are presenting a special “Comedy show” called “Kalakka Povathu Naanga”. We promise you a laugh riot of gags, acts and mimics by Comedy Kings of Vijay TV’s “Kalakapovathu Yaru” Fame. The team consists of Sivakarthikeyan, Jeeva & Gokulnath
Mr. Sivakarthikeyan is ultimate Comedy King of the Vijay TV show. He is famous for his spoof on Tamil Cinema.
Mr. Gokulnath is a professional mime Artist. Without uttering a word he makes the audiences laugh.
Mr Jeeva of ‘Lollu Sabha’ fame has also been crowned as Comedy King of Vijay TV show and is now acting in various tamil movies.
The “Variety Show” will consist of mimicry, jokes, mimes etc. In addition to the above program, there will be a cultural show to be performed by children & adults. Please note that since we have overseas Artistes to perform who are likely to take One & half hours, we are constrained to restrict the local program to not more than an hour.
We request our friends to arrive at least 30 minutes earlier to facilitate the registration process at the entrance.
