IndiaFM reports that Mukta Arts' Bombay to Bangkok directed by Nagesh Kukunoor is set to release on 14th December 07. It claims that it is a true romantic comedy, Bombay to Bangkok is a breezy cross cultural story of a boy meets girl and then follows their discoveries about love and life on a rollicking ride. Bombay to Bangkok is a story of Shankar (Shreyas Talpade), a petty thief somehow reaches Bangkok. In Bangkok, he faces the omnipresent problem. He meets the girl of his dreams but she is all Thai and he can't converse with her at all!
Well, what follows is a potpourri of fun, adventure, cross- cultural dilemma and of course India Thai romance. Although the film is a Hindi movie, it remains to be seen if it can be dubbed into Thai at some latter stage. This might well be the beginning of Indian movies being appreciated by Thais. Bombay to Bangkok is written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. Others include Music by Salim-Suleman, Cinematography by Sudeep Chatterjee, Art Direction by Sunil Babu & sound recordist Vipin Bhati.
