Wellcome to thaindian.comThese words aptly sum up the feelings of almost 16-18 attendees of the www.thaindian.com meet up who came right there to the 2nd floor of Indian Hut restaurant to meet otherwise unknown faces and establish the bond of brotherhood.

It was a real privilege to watch a bunch of people from completely diverse backgrounds, regions and ages mixing with each other and making friends - some of them possibly for a life time!

The "ipod nano" was received by Dr. Prasert on behalf of Dr. Anita - the winner of ipod. Mr. C J Singh, General Manager of the event sponsor Indian Hut Restaurant did the honors.

Some more time was spent in general introduction and chit chat on The "ipod nano" was received by Dr. Prasert on behalf of Dr. Anita - the winner of ipod. Mr. C J Singh, General Manager of the event sponsor Indian Hut Restaurant did the honors. Thai and Indian issues along with Pakoras, samosas and Indian Masala chai - overwhelmingly Indian and yet so Thai!

The ice was almost broken till then. The last blow to the "ice" came when the crowd got split into two teams and played  "Dumb Charades" which continued for about 45 minutes and got even the first timers hooked on to it.

The meet up would not have gone so well without the enthusiastic participation of the thai-indian junta present there. www.thaindian.com salutes their spirit, promises for more events in future and hopes that there is more active participation from the community people and this single step becomes a journey of thousand miles!
