Suvarnabhumi Airport (IATA: NBK, ICAO: VTBS), also New Bangkok International Airport (NBIA) or Second Bangkok International Airport (SBIA) is the long-delayed new international airport serving Bangkok, Thailand. The airport is presently using interim IATA airport code NBK, but it will inherit the code BKK from Bangkok International Airport (Don Mueang) after it is decommissioned.

The long awaited airport project is expected to start full operations from september 28th, but there will be no official opening ceremony.
