Sania Mirza lost 6-4, 7-5 to Gisela Dulko of Argentina in the semi-finals of the USD 170,000 WTA Tour event in Pattaya on Saturday.
Dulko won the first set after breaking Sania's serve at 4-4 and then there was no looking back for her. Dulko took the first set 6-4 then had to battle hard to win the second 7-5.
Dulko said she was delighted to have made it through.''It was a very tough match because Sania is a very good player,'' she said. ''Sania hits hard with her whole body but I got the right result and it is very good to be in the final."
